Getting Started
At your first appointment Damonte Ranch Dental Care, we want to make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. We’ll show you around our office, introduce you to our team, and of course offer you a cup of tea and a cookie to help you relax.
We’ll have you fill out a bit of paperwork, including your dental and medical history.
We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing for your first visit, please remember your appointment can last between 45 and 90 minutes. It’s time well spent!
Your First Exam
As part of your new patient appointment, we’ll:
- Review your dental and medical history
- Use digital x-rays and our intraoral cameras to create high-definition images of your mouth
- Complete a quick and non-invasive oral cancer screening
We’ll schedule your dental cleaning separately from your new patient appointment. This gives Dr. Waring the chance to evaluate your health and determine what type of cleaning you need.
Meet Dr. Waring
After your exam, you’ll sit down with Dr. Waring to review his findings and talk about the follow-up care that will benefit you most. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions about your health, how to make your smile more beautiful, and anything else you’re wondering about.
New patients often ask about:

- What to do about a toothache

If you’d like to save time, you can download and complete your new patient paperwork at home and bring it to your appointment.
