Digital X-Rays
Dental x-rays are incredibly valuable diagnostic tools that can reveal tooth decay and other dental health issues. We use advanced digital x-rays that use a tiny amount of radiation — just a bit more than you get from eating a banana!
We also use high-tech intraoral imaging tools to allow Dr. Waring and you to get high-definition images of exactly what’s going on in your mouth.
Gentle & Comprehensive Cleaning
Our experienced hygienists will gently clean your teeth and gums. They’ll offer tips to help you improve your brushing and flossing technique and answer any questions you have about home dental care.
Many of our patients ask us about how to stop snoring, limit tooth sensitivity, or whiten their teeth.
Your Dental Examination
Dr. Waring will conduct a thorough exam of your mouth, including an oral cancer screening and gum disease evaluation. You’ll review your x-rays together and discuss any issues or risk factors.
From there, we’ll outline your options and create a unique treatment plan just for you focused on maximizing your oral health.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost for a teeth cleaning?
Most dental insurances cover a significant portion of your twice-a-year dental cleanings and exams including 1 set of full x-rays. We’d be happy to do a complimentary benefit check to get an estimate of your copay (if you have one). No insurance? Ask us about our Membership Plan which includes 2 dental cleanings (plus other care) starting at just $360/year.
What happens during a teeth cleaning?
During a dental cleaning appointment, you’ll sit back and relax while your hygienist carefully removes plaque and tartar from your teeth. We’ll also carefully clean the areas between your teeth and polish your teeth with a special paste.
Does getting your teeth cleaned hurt?
Our hygienists are very gentle and will ensure you’re comfortable during your appointment. If you’re suffering from inflamed gums or another dental health issue, you may experience some sensitivity or bleeding of the gums. If that’s the case, over-the-counter pain medication will usually do the trick.
Why do I need to have my teeth cleaned at least twice a year?
Even with at-home brushing and flossing, certain areas of your mouth are difficult to reach. Most people experience some plaque and tartar buildup no matter how diligent they are with their dental hygiene routine.
