Getting Started
At your first appointment at Damonte Ranch Dental Care, we want to make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. We’ll show you around our office, introduce you to our team, and help you settle in.
We’ll have you fill out a bit of paperwork, including your dental and medical history.
We understand you have a busy schedule, so please plan accordingly:
- Exam + x-rays: 60 minutes
- Exam + x-rays + cleaning (same day): 120 minutes
It’s time well spent — and we’ll make sure you feel informed and cared for every step of the way.
Your First Exam
As part of your new patient appointment, we’ll:
- Review your dental and medical history
- Use digital x-rays and our intraoral cameras to create high-definition images of your mouth
- Complete a quick and non-invasive oral cancer screening
If you’re scheduled for a cleaning on the same day, we’ll perform that during your visit as well. If not, we’ll help you find a convenient time for your cleaning based on Dr. Waring’s recommendations.
Meet Dr. Waring
After your exam, you’ll sit down with Dr. Waring to review his findings and talk about the follow-up care that will benefit you most. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions about your health, how to make your smile more beautiful, and anything else you’re wondering about.
New patients often ask about:

- How to stop snoring
- What to do about a toothache
